
We are two weeks away from spring break! This week is Dr. Suess week and Ms. Scarlett has been very busy getting some amazing things ready for the week.



Calendar change- District track meets have changed days. High school will now be on April 2nd and will be a regular schedule full day. April 3rd will now be the Junior High district meet and that will be our early release day.

Mandatory parent meeting for those interested in trying out for cheerleader will be Feb 13 at 6pm in the cafeteria. Tryouts will be March 14 during the school day. Girls entering 7th-12th grade can tryout.

The Junior class is sponsoring a "crush" fundraiser for Valentine's Day. Submit your order form and money by Feb 12th.

The Paint Rock Powerlifting teams were in action yesterday in our first ever meet and they did fantastic. The Maidens all set personal records and represent themselves very well. The Boys team finished in 2nd place with the following athletes receiving individual medals.
132 lb class Mathew Plumley 2nd place
148 lb class Elijah Rodriguez 1st place
148 lb class Ezra Ruiz 2nd place
198 lb class Steven Rodriguez 1st place
242 lb Arnulfo Campos 1st place
Super heavy weight class Ismael "Smiley" Altamirano 2nd place.

Congratulations to the students from Paint Rock ISD and Eden CISD who competed in today's Concho County Ag Mechanics Contest. Special thanks to our buckle donor the Paint Rock Masonic Lodge #613 and Robert Rodgers for presenting the buckles to our grand champion and reserve champion. We would also like to thank our judge Wayne Pyburn for volunteering his time. As always, a big thank you to the community for coming out and showing their support.
