So proud of our band! They went to their UIL performance today and are bringing home a Sweepstakes trophy. This means they got all 1's from the judges today in both their concert performance and sight reading.

Each day we are excited to greet our kids and see which ones are dressed up with the theme for the day. Ms. Scarlett has had some amazing activities with elementary students and even included secondary on some of her guessing games and trivia. Thank you, Ms. Scarlett for bringing magic to reading!

One final UIL clinic with Mr. Bode before our band competes next week at their UIL competition. They will compete in Ballinger next Wednesday, March 6 at 11:40. Please make plans to go to Ballinger and support these kids if you are able.
The staff member of the month is Mr. Cruz. We are so thankful for Mr. Cruz! He always has a smile on his face and works hard to keep the campus working.

📢Paint Rock Elementary Cooking Club📢
Paint Rock Elementary is partnering with Concho 4-H Group to bring a cooking club to our 3rd through 5th graders after school. We only have 10 spots available. Paperwork will be sent home with students tomorrow. If you have any questions please reach out to Ms. Dement at 325-732-4314.
Our 7-12 grade band traveled to Ballinger today to work with Mr. Jim Bode in preparation for their upcoming UIL contest on March 6
Three students participated in UIL History Fair at ASU today. Shotze Hennig and Ofilia Gonzalez received 1st place in Group Exhibit Division. Duncan Dowd received 3rd place in Individual Exhibit Division. The girls will advance to the state competition on April 20.

Student Council also started a fundraiser this week. They will be selling Paint Rock hats for $25. They will be collecting orders until Feb 29, so send in your order to the office or contact a student council member to make sure you don't miss out!

Come support our Varsity Basketball girls in the Bi District playoff game at the Junell Center at ASU in San Angelo at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children and district passes are accepted.
